Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Before payment, the customer should see the amount, currency, service provider, cancellation rules, refund timing, and secure payment method. FirstTrip does not store full card numbers or CVV.

Card payments

  • Payments are processed through a connected payment provider or acquiring bank.
  • The payment page shows amount, currency, payment purpose, and card statement descriptor.
  • Visa and Mastercard payments follow provider rules, fraud checks, and 3-D Secure/SCA where applicable.

Cancellation and refund

  • Cancellation rules depend on the fare and supplier: free cancellation, partial refund, or non-refundable rate.
  • After a confirmed cancellation, a refund is initiated to the original payment method where available.
  • Arrival time depends on the bank, payment scheme, and provider.
